Vanpools are groups of five to 15 people with a similar commute that travel 15+ miles one way to work. Vanpool participants are provided with a van and, in return, pay a monthly fee that covers the cost of the fuel, maintenance and insurance.

36 Commuting Solutions will provide vanpoolers with a 20-50 percent subsidy for the first three months, or help to form a new vanpool with as few as two people.
