The instructor-led training lasts four hours and includes both lecture and interviewing practice with coaching and feedback. The curriculum includes:

  • What do we look for at Vail Resorts? Participants learn our employment brand, value proposition messages and recruiting process.
  • The Vail Resorts interviewing essentials. Participants explore the candidate experience, interview competencies, legal requirements and our interview team approach.
  • Interviewing practice. Participants practice asking behavioral interview questions and probing and challenging candidate responses. They receive real-time feedback from other participants and from the faculty.
